Read original.In the December issue of ELLE magazine – with Carrie Underwood on the cover – reader Kate expressed her feelings towards Jennifer’s interview in the October issue. I love what she said and felt like making a post about it. :)

After reading “Dream Catcher” in your October issue, I’ve recognized that Jennifer Lopez is an inspiration to women who want to pursue more than one career path—she teaches us not to be afraid to do it and not to be afraid if we fail. I’m glad Peter Rubin mentioned some of her projects that didn’t succeed; it makes her more relatable. Not only does she motivate woman to take risks in life, but risks in fashion. Not everything has to fit the social mold – Lopez clearly wears what she wants and doesn’t seem to care if the rest of the world likes it as long as she is expressing herself. Kate, via e-mail.
