UPDATE: Coty Inc. confirmed to us that this is not the official ad for Blue Glow and that Jennifer Lopez will not be featured in the ads.

Back in December, we already reported that Jennifer Lopez would be coming out with the fragrance Blue Glow. The fragrance, a fruity floral, opens on top notes of mangosteen, Valencia orange and redcurrant blossom, building to a heart of wild water lily, vintage rose, vanilla orchid and a shimmering water accord. The base is a blend of cedarwood, mahogany wood, florymoss and Venezuelan Tonka bean.

The bottle is a reworked version of the original Glow by JLo, and features the same smooth, curvaceous shape. This time the colour-scheme is a deep ocean blue. An anklet adorns the bottle as the trademark personal touch from Lopez. The outer carton is a corresponding graduated turquoise and blue.

The full Blue Glow by JLo product line-up comprises 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edt sprays, plus a 200ml glistening body lotion.

When Jennifer Lopez first showed her longtime makeup artist Scott Barnes her sexy catsuit the day of her appearance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, she asked him, “Do you think it’s too much?” But, there wasn’t much doubt she’d be wearing the daring look, designed by stylist Paula Bradley.

“She said, ‘It looks cool, right?’ She was so excited. She said ‘I like it!’” Barnes explains,“She was having such a good time and it really showed. She has confidence about her body. She’s not hiding behind any insecurities.” And Barnes marvels at her incredible shape, considering she is the mother of twins! “She is 40 and she’s had two kids,” he says. “Her body looks better than ever. It was so hot!”

Husband Marc Anthony also approved, according to Barnes. The catsuit however, wasn’t quite as naked as it appeared on TV. “It was nude with black mesh over it,” says Barnes. “She wasn’t that cold. It was like having a ski suit on underneath.”

And her bodysuit wasn’t the only sexy thing Lopez was sporting — Barnes highlighted her eyes with smoky makeup including charcoal eyeliner, several coats of mascara and Swarovski crystals sprinkled over her lids, paired with nude lipstick from Lancôme layered with pink gloss and a little highlighter on her cheekbones. “There was enough going on,” he says of balancing her out-there catsuit with a lighter makeup application.

And lest this look be soon forgotten, Barnes places it with J. Lo’s most iconic look. “The bodysuit is right up there with her Versace dress [from the 2000 Grammy Awards],” says Barnes. “After a decade in the public eye, most women wouldn’t have the guts to wear something like that but she is so confident. She’s a woman and she celebrates it. Everyone else is trying to be a size zero but not her.”

Jennifer Lopez will further expand her fragrance portfolio through Coty Prestige with a new feminine scent, called Blue Glow by JLo. It will be available worldwide from February 2010.

Nope, that’s not one of her own adorable twins, Emme or Max, that Jennifer Lopez is cuddling up to, but for her newest ad campaign, for J.Lo My Glow, the singer clearly has family on her mind — and she’s giving us an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the shoot. In a series of images for the new fragrance (click through below to see more), Jennifer naturally assumes a maternal role in domestic scenes meant to reflect the coziness of the new floral fragrance. “The inspiration for the fragrance My Glow came from where I am right now, a place of happiness and fulfillment at this intimate stage in my life,” she explained in a release.

“There is a special glow that women get when they’re pregnant and when they are falling in love with their babies. I wanted My Glow to be for all women to be able to connect with this intimacy and love.”

For the second edition of Fashion Faceoff we have Jennifer who was seen leaving her 40th surprise birthday bash at the Edison Ballroom in New York and Britney Spears at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

Jennifer wore the dress in July, making a small adjustment to the original dress by adding fabric that covered her right shoulder. Britney wore the dress on yesterday’s TCA red carpet with ‘naked shoulders’. Brit Brit opted for a slightly different look as she went without a clutch.
