In December we posted the exclusive interview that we had with Jennifer’s make up artist Scott Barnes in celebration of the release of his first book ‘About Face’. Our dear friend Scott showed his kindness and passion about his work by giving us a signed copy of his book to give away at a contest: The Scott Barnes Contest.

Scott wanted our female visitors to re-create the look he gave Jennifer on the January cover of Allure magazine. Since we wanted to give male fans a chance to win as well, they could send in pictures of themselves holding the same Allure cover.

Before we announce the winner we would like to thank all of our visitors who sent in their submissions, you all did a great job! Only one person was able to win and take home that price, BUT we wanted to make a Top 3 with #3 and #2 being Honorable Mentions and have their pictures featured on the website and #1 being the price winner that will take home the autographed copy of ‘About Face.’

#3 – Alejandro (Honorable Mention)

Alejandro’s submission was one of the few that really stood out from the submissions made by the guys. We love the way he holds the Allure magazine passionately. What we loved even more is that he posed with the Allure cover and his J-Lo collection around him.

#2 – Elena (Honorable Mention)

Elena is the 2nd runner up. She did a great job recreating the Allure cover and we thought she exuded that confident look that makes J-Lo herself. Her make up, hair and pose definately showed that she drew inspiration from the actual magazine cover.

#1 – Hồ Phương Giang (Prize Winner)

Now it’s time to announce the winner! Her name is Hồ Phương Giang. She did an amazing job re-creating Jennifer’s look on the Allure cover: make up, hairstyle, pose and clothing. But what really made her win is her creativity. She really re-created the coverlook by making her submission look like an actual magazine cover. So that’s why we decided to let her win the contest.

Scott Barnes’s signed book with foreword written by Jennifer Lopez (also on the cover) will be on your way soon, Hồ. We hope you enjoy the book and draw a lot of inspiration out of it!

The new website for ‘The Back-up Plan’ movie went live. The site has an awesome new design and is a lot more interactive – with photo galleries, cast bio’s, trailers, games, widgets and more! We heard that they will show a spot to promote the movie during today’s Super Bowl which is a real big deal because the Super Bowl is the most-watched American television broadcast. So a lot of people will hear about ‘The Back-up Plan‘ for the first time this Sunday.

The movie is now set for an April 23rd, 2010 release intead of an April 16th, 2010 release. But no worries guys, it’s only pushed back a week. Let’s hope that’s where it will stay.

Something cool about the ‘Love Shot’-game, which you can play on the website or on Facebook, is that you can unlock exclusive unseen clips from the film as you shoot your way through “life’s obstacles”. Click the image below to play the game on Facebook.

Last but not least, CBS Films sent us some behind the scenes pictures from the movie that feature the cast and director Alan Poul.

Can you believe it already? This is the thrid time I am opening my articles page and start writing an update wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Who would’ve thought that (almost) three years later I would still be running OnlineJLoFan.com with even more success than in the two year before.

This year has been an amazing year for the website and all of us Jennifer Lopez fans. She went back to work and we got to see tons of pictures of her working on “The Back-up Plan,” watch fun interviews about her kids, work and charities, get some nice magazine covers and also some amazing performances with the kick-off for the “Love?” era.

We can’t wait to see what 2010 will have in store for is. It’s sure going to be a great year filled with new music and film by Jennifer Lopez.

Thanks to all our visitors for still sticking with us and thanks to all the people involved with the website in the past year, that includes not only the people that joined our staff like Maurice and Lianne but also the people we interviewed and our fellow Beyond Beatiful fans and picture and news suppliers! And last but not least, thanks to Jennifer Lopez for everything that she’s done for us this year!

Check out our brand new look for the OnlineJLoFan Photogallery. It’s very colorful and fresh, we certainly hope that you enjoy it!

It drives me nuts to know that we still have so many pictures to add to our beautiful gallery.

There must be a few thousand pictures that still need to be added. Ranging from rare/unseen photoshoots to old and new pictures, movie screencaptures and a ton of magazine scans.

We currently hold over 15,000 pictures in the gallery and the pictures have been viewed over 4,104,163 times, making it the most popular Jennifer Lopez gallery on the internet!
